Business Development Manager (m/f/d) (German Speaking - Based in Vietnam)

As a Business Development Manager for Air & Ocean, you will be instrumental in shaping the growth and success of our business. Your primary focus will be to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, which will require a strategic mindset and proactive approach. You will engage with potential clients, understanding their logistics needs and presenting tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.

What you can expect

• You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, including freehand business and generating leads.
• Additionally, you will provide competitive quotations, visist clients regularly, and collaborate with Accounting for timely payments.
• In your role, you will analyse market trends and competitors to develop strategies that increase cargo volumes and improve financial outcomes.
• You will work with product teams to create and promote services, while sharing trade lane insights with partners and local staff.
• Your responsibilities will include ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate records in the Sales system (SUGAR).

What you bring

• You have proven sales experience in the freight forwarding industry, with a strong track record in business development and "hunting" roles.
• You are fluent in both English and German, with proficiency in MS Office and general PC operations.
• Naturally, you bring excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with assertiveness and attention to detail.
• Thanks to your strong teamwork skills, you are able to collaborate across different departments and cultures.
• Last but not least, you are willing to relocate to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
