THE ROLEOur client is looking for a German Speaking Business Travel Consultant -to conduct business in an efficient and professional manner whilst adhering to company procedures and guidelines. You will work closely with the Team Manager as required to support the business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- To provide high level customer service to all clients internal and external to the required SLAs and standards
- Assist with emergency actions, contingency plans, and out of hours requirements ensuring policies are adhered to correctly.
- Work towards strict SLA's and KPI's whilst working professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with all necessary departments regarding client activity to include any positive or negative behaviour, client complaints providing assistance to colleagues where needed
- Ensure that all administration team tasks, both internal/external is of the highest standard
- Ensure that all administration, both internal and external is of the highest standard.
- Assist with all client travel needs from the initial enquiry to completed travel by phone or email adapting to the different priorities of all clients.
- To be fully conversant in all operational working practices
- To be able to work flexible hours.
- Assist with any additional tasks required as a business priority
- To respond to any other reasonable duties/tasks as may be requested by your Manager or other departmental Managers.
THE PERSON Key skills, experience and qualifications:
- Fluent in German.
- Exhibit positive team orientated behaviour, resilient and adaptable with the ability to remain calm and patient.
- Proven attention to detail and maintaining company standards.
- Extensive industry experience in all areas of the reservation process
- Fully confident in all aspects of the GDS with excellent knowledge of fares and ticketing with the ability to turnaround fare calculations and ticket re issues .
- Able to work independently and use own initiative to resolve problems and find a solution
- Strong communication skills demonstrating a pro-active response to client servicing at all times
- Adept using Microsoft Office Software
- Proven advanced industry experience in all areas of travel management operations is essential
- Sound, proven GDS skills with the ability to manage multiple reservations
- Extensive industry experience in all areas of the reservation process
This position is paying up to £37k for the right candidate.
