About this Role

We are seeking a Category Management professional to lead the definition, sign-off, and execution of category strategies for leased lines within the Supply Chain Management function. The individual will manage and deliver projects across various local markets, negotiate contracts and renewals, and collaborate with local teams and stakeholders. This role is pivotal in driving Vodafone's global strategy for procuring leased lines, fixed line access, and consumer line rental, contributing to supplier roadmaps and ensuring long-term sourcing decisions are aligned with business objectives

What will you do

• Possess strong commercial and negotiation skills, particularly with multi-year agreements.
• Demonstrate robust contracting skills for both initial agreements and ongoing management.
• Exhibit leadership and teamwork, with a focus on collaboration within virtual teams.
• Display business acumen and understanding of the leased line industry, market practices, and trends.
• Bring knowledge or experience in property or data centre commercial management.
• Have solid experience in the telecoms industry with a procurement background.
• Proven track record of delivering against challenging targets and working successfully with virtual teams in cross-cultural environments.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication and executive presentation skills.
• Strong data analysis capabilities.
• Effective engagement with key stakeholders and ability to communicate at senior management level.
• Experience in procurement at global or local level, with technical knowledge of networks and services and the ability to drive category transformation.
• Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English and German
