All about the role:
  • The main responsibility of this role is delivering high level of customer service in Collection activities for Germany: customer chasing, following on the customer's account, following and preparing periodical reporting and upon business request.


What you'll do:
  • Perform collection process for German entity: contact customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-payment;
  • Delivering high level of customer service: Analyses of situation on customer accounts;
  • Following up on overdue accounts;
  • Participating in resolution of unclear payments;
  • Evaluating customer account and payment history ;
  • Supporting other team members in achieving team and individual goals;
  • Elaboration of reports (periodical and upon request);
  • Regularly communicate with manager;
  • Preparing and updating process documentation and desktop procedures.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with various Business Units, Credit Analysts, Sales, Key Individuals and Customers

Who you are:
  • Min 1 year of working experience in customer service with specific experience in Collection, Query and Dispute Management, Accounts Receivable,
  • Excellent telephone manner, Competent and experienced in other AR activities,
  • Good knowledge of OTC accounting principles, activities and processes,
  • Awareness of internal and external business environment,
  • Knowledge of Credit Management process will be an advantage


Competencies needed:
  • University degree is desirable, preferably in Finance or related subject;
  • Min 1 year of working experience in customer service particularly in Collection area;
  • Fluent German (written and spoken),
  • Good command of English, Other language would be an asset;
  • Good understanding of SAP,
  • Working knowledge of Ms. Office package with very good excel skills;
  • Team orientated, Patient, Paying attention to details with eye for continual process improvement,
  • Organised, Persistent, Disciplined, Taking ownership and responsibility of outstanding issues and queries,
  • Efficient at working in fast paced environment and under stressful situations;
  • Experience of working in a / within a multicultural, international environment,
  • Ability to multi- task under pressure and deal with sensitive and confidential information.
