About the role:As an Events and Exhibitions Specialist at MANN+HUMMEL, you'll help organize internal company events and prepare materials for exhibitions by working closely with colleagues from marketing, management of business units and creative teams. Your role is hands-on and focuses on practical coordination, managing requests, and making sure event-related tasks move smoothly from start to finish.
Your responsibilities:- Plan, organize, and coordinate internal events such as leadership meetings or influencer gatherings, and support preparation for exhibitions by coordinating required materials (booth assets, graphics, giveaways, etc.).
- Handle incoming event-related requests in the ticketing tool (ServiceNow), ensuring correct routing, priority handling, and transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Work closely with The Studio (creative team), the digital team, Purchasing, and local external suppliers to ensure all event materials and designs are produced on time.
- Manage the company's giveaway catalogue - selecting items, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring stock, and making sure items are available when needed.
- Support colleagues with practical event planning tasks like hotel bookings, catering, and logistics, ensuring everything is arranged smoothly.
- Create design-related tickets, follow up on deadlines, and make sure final materials are ready for production and delivery.
- Keep up-to-date timelines, checklists, and simple project plans so all tasks are clear and delivered on schedule.
Your profile:- Education: Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Hotel Management, Public Relations, or a related field (or relevant practical experience).
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in event planning, event coordination, exhibitions, or similar marketing activities.
- Required Skills: MS Office proficiency; experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing tools is an advantage.
- Languages: English at a professional working level (C1), fluent German (B2) required; .
- Competencies: Strong organizational and coordination skills, good communication skills, ability to manage several tasks at once, creative and solution-oriented personality not afraid of practical, execution-focused work
