Partner with the bestIn this role, you will provide Payroll support for all Baker Hughes businesses in Germany. You will identify and resolve operational issues and support process improvement.
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Processing accurately and on time monthly payroll input to reflect changes regarding temporary & permanent payments, deductions for current employees, new hires and exiting employees.
- Calculating payroll-related payments including final entitlements, overtime-time, absences etc.
- Resolving promptly queries from the Company and employees regarding payroll and time matters and related issues.
- Processing of notifications/certificates for employees/tax authorities/health insurances, etc.
- Maintaining accurate payroll records as part of the employee file to support audits.
- Working closely with employees, Payroll Leader, HR and Finance Services team.
- Ensuring compliance and controllership in all transactions.
- Monitor integrated information from Workday.
- Follow up on governmental Payroll declarations.
- Support payroll tax audit
- Control on Benefits and insurances of the employees, check if salaries are correct or need to be corrected.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
- Have first post qualification experience in a Payroll processing role related to Germany legislations
- Have experience in payroll running in SAP
- Have good excel skills
- Have excellent analytical skills, be detail oriented
- Have the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines
- Be energetic, self-starter, independent worker with ability to learn quickly
- Have strong German Language skills
- Have Strong numeracy, accounting and reporting skills
