DESCRIPTION
"Certified Refurbished on Amazon" is a new initiative that transforms how customers buy the highest quality non-new products. Through Certified Refurbished on Amazon, customers are able to purchase a wide variety of like-new products at up to a 50% discount and get a 1-year warranty on their purchase. After delighting customers in the USA, we are expanding the business across the EU and are looking for entrepreneurial-minded self-starters to be part of the expansion team. The Account Manager will work closely with suppliers of Certified Refurbished products to grow their business on Amazon. This is a unique opportunity to influence a new business from the ground up and to grow an entire new segment of the Amazon portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, call, qualify and launch new 3rd party merchants of refurbished products that deliver competitive selection, pricing and product availability
- Manage a number of high priority merchants and help them grow their business over a period of time by ensuring they understand our policies, tools, and promotional opportunities
- Analyze data to uncover merchant growth opportunities and to report on the performance of managed sellers at EU-level
- Use the feedback from the merchants you manage to identify opportunities to improve our products, business processes, systems and tools for all of our 3rd party merchants
- Work with different parts of Amazon to implement and drive these improvement projects
Operating in a fast-moving and challenging environment, Amazon’s high performance bar requires that you are self-motivated and target driven, skilled in phone based sales, can work autonomously and take full control and responsibility for achieving the quarterly sales target.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- An excellent communicator, with sales skills and a proven track record of performance
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit
- Able to work autonomously, taking responsibility for achieving individual business development targets
- Proven ability to manage large numbers of initiatives and competing priorities
- Numerical with the ability to apply intermediate Excel skills
- Proficient in English and German
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in French, Spanish, and Italian
- Experience in B2B or high-tech products/services
- 2+ years of sales or customer service experience
