A Snapshot of Your Day The Siemens Energy Real Estate team for Germany look after a portfolio of office and industrial sites covering approximately one million square meters in over 30 German towns and cities. As the Project Controller for the German Real Estate team, you will be responsible for the controlling of all small to midsize real estate maintenance projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring business continuity and your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key in supporting the financial health of Siemens Energy.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Support Reporting for Budget/Forecast and actuals for your projects incl. month-end closing tasks
- Support Hub FIN Operations, Hub Operations and technical Zone heads in steering projects by providing complete and transparent analysis of project figures
- Project-controlling s for all projects in the Zone
- Ensure correctness and completeness of financial figures for projects on a timely basis
- Checking relevant invoices and charges for the projects within your area of responsibility and support Zone BAs with this task
- Support ad hoc tasks / requirements as well as global special projects
What You Bring - Successfully completed degree in business administration, economics or comparable studies
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience of project controlling thereby identifying, evaluating, and assessing risks and opportunities.
- Experience of real estate and lease accounting issues as well as knowledge of IFRS
- Previous Real Estate experience in working for a German company is preferred, ideally > 3 years
- Fluent in English and German
- Good proficiency in the usual IT tools, especially Excel, MS-PowerPoint and other MS-Office applications required. Knowledge of SAP R3 CO and FI desirable
About the Team You will become part of the Siemens Energy Real Estate team for Germany. You will report to the Commercial Head of RE for Germany and will work closely together with other business areas in Germany and Portugal as well as with the technical counterparts for your respective region.
