Global Spend Management - Indirect Procurement Country Coordinator GERMAN SPEAKING
Reports to: Global GSM Team Manager
Purpose
The Country Coordinator is responsible for managing, maintaining and delivering cost-effective sourcing strategies, ensure compliance with company policies, and drive value across indirect or direct procurement categories in country, whilst working closely with the GSM teams globally and the key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
The role involves, but not limited to, analyzing spend data, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies to deliver cost savings and operational efficiency across the country/region and systems.

Global Spend Management - Indirect Procurement Country Coordinator GERMAN SPEAKING
Reports to: Global GSM Team Manager
Purpose
The Country Coordinator is responsible for managing, maintaining and delivering cost-effective sourcing strategies, ensure compliance with company policies, and drive value across indirect or direct procurement categories in country, whilst working closely with the GSM teams globally and the key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
The role involves, but not limited to, analyzing spend data, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies to deliver cost savings and operational efficiency across the country/region and systems.
Job Descriptions
Country Procurement EMEA Support
- Management of all 3rd party suppliers spend in country
- Countries to be covered: Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg
- Working closely with the GSM Global Category Leads and Country Purchasing Managers
- Maintain all procurement records and documentation
- General business queries / support key stakeholders
- Overseeing and management of in country Audit support where appropriate
- Management of new supplier requests /amendments for the country / region
- Purchase Order approvals (compliance to policy/review/GRN) - Local Procurement CP approval EMEA/validations
- Pcard audit (working with Accounts Payable (AP)
- Escalation invoice/supplier queries
- Management of reporting / parked invoice reports
Key Responsibilities
- Spend Analysis & Reporting
- Collect and analyze global indirect spend data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and compliance gaps.
- Prepare dashboards and reports for category managers and leadership, highlighting KPIs and supplier performance.
- Supplier & Category Support
- Assist in supplier evaluations, onboarding, and performance monitoring for indirect categories.
- Support category managers with data-driven insights for sourcing strategies and negotiations.
- Process Optimization
- Recommend improvements to indirect procurement processes and tools to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline requisition-to-payment workflows.
- Cost Control & Savings Tracking
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation through benchmarking and market analysis.
- Track and validate savings initiatives across indirect categories.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to global procurement policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and governance reporting.
Qualifications
- Education: Language capabilities required
- English and German proficient (both written & verbal)
- Experience: 3+ years procurement required, covering contract management, supplier liaison, negotiation etc.
Skills:
- Knowledge of global sourcing practices and indirect procurement trends
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced skills in MS Office Package(Word, Excel, Access Outlook)
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and procurement platforms (Ariba) desirable
