The positionThe HR Specialist with German will play an important role in successfully developing the HR Regional Service Centre and reports into the AskHR Lead. The HR Specialist works closely with key stakeholders in EMEA countries, takes part in delivering HR admin support to those markets, and supports transferring HR processes and tasks from the EMEA countries which will be serviced by the team in Warsaw.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Provide professional operational support via phone, chat and email on a wide range of HR administrative processes, HR systems and services to employees and managers across EMEA. Please note that the support may not be specific just for one country or region, and it is expected that the scope of work may change or expand over time.
- Support the transfer of HR processes and tasks from EMEA countries to the AskHR Unit in Warsaw and ensure a strong customer focus and continuous improvement of services.
- Contribute to building an HR knowledge base for the team of HR Specialists to use covering various EMEA HR processes and local legislation.
- Closely collaborate with HR colleagues who are based in different EMEA countries and colleagues in the Global Business Service People Operation in India when solving inquiries within the service level agreements.
- Act as a "super user" or "subject matter expert" within specific fields of expertise and/or to a specific country. Actively participate in meetings, sharing your ideas and having a hands-on approach towards process improvements
QualificationsTo succeed in this role, we expect you to:
- Hold a bachelor's degree (business, law, HR or similar would be an asset).
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience and process knowledge within the HR area. Prior experience supporting HR administration tasks in a Shared Services environment would be considered a plus
- Fluent written and spoken English and German as a must.
- Good knowledge of ServiceNow (SNOW) system would be considered as a plus.
- Demonstrated skills in PC applications and experience with SAP HR preferred.
On a personal level we expect you to have very good communication skill and be an excellent team player with a positive and engaged can-do attitude. We are looking for problem solver with strong customer focus and experience in HR.
About the DepartmentWe are on an exciting journey towards expanding our HR Regional Service Centre in Warsaw. The ambition for the Regional Service Centre is to provide professional HR operational service and guidance to the approx. 4.000 employees working in Novo Nordisk in the different countries in EMEA region. The askHR unit is the first point of contact for all people inquiries and the team also contributes to the development of new global processes and systems including new digital solutions.
The Regional Service Centre is co-located with the Business Area office for EMEA East and the Polish affiliate. With annual budgeted sales level of over 700 million DKK and with 130 employees in the Polish affiliate the company ambition is to continuously improve quality of patients' life and bring innovation into the markets.
