Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software architectures based on modern microservices and cutting-edge technologies.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Implement user stories in an agile Scrum team.
• Further develop existing software artifacts.
• Drive automation in software development and improve processes.
• Contribute from the initial concept to the go-live phase.
• Ensure high software quality with appropriate test coverage.
• Take ownership of your work and proactively drive topics forward.

Qualifications

Must-have

• Extensive professional experience with Go, Java, or C++.
• Knowledge of Go or a willingness to learn and quickly adapt to it.
• Full professional proficiency in German.
• Experience developing REST APIs with OpenAPI.
• Strong knowledge of Git.
• Ability to conduct constructive and analytical code reviews.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience in building distributed software systems with Java, ideally using REST interfaces, messaging, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with common architecture patterns and modeling approaches, such as domain-driven design, microservices, hexagonal architecture, and clean architecture.
• Strong grasp of software design patterns.
• Independent, self-driven work in an agile Scrum environment.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic understanding of GitOps processes and ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with Kafka.
• Experience with frontend technologies: React, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Robot Framework.
• Understanding of code architecture patterns such as Port-Adapter and BCE.
