Your role:
As Payroll Accounting & Closing Expert (German market) you will support payroll closing activities with monthly, quarterly and annual closings by providing relevant payroll data, coordinating the relevant ones in financial accounting while adhering to the monthly and annual closing deadlines and working closely with finance department. Your core tasks are account maintanence; posting of monthly payment and returned payments. You will be the main contact person for related areas for questions regarding monthly payroll process and reconciliation of the corresponding accounts in financial accounting. And also for setting up new wage types in our ERP system.
You will closely collaborate with other departments (e.g. IT & HR Services) to ensure correct data in the relevant systems. You will take part in process optimization: driving forward ideas for process improvements in the area of responsibility and subsequent implementation (within the framework of company guidelines).
Who you are:
- 2+ years of experience in Finance Department (General Ledger preferable)
- Good to have: experience in HR Shared Service Centre (German Payroll)
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Good to have: knowledge of SAP HR/SuccessFactors
- Good to have: good knowledge of salary administration processes and the relevant German law in this area
- Self-driven and very good organization of work, conscientiousness, reliability and responsibility
- Analytical skills
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work in an international environment and to build strong partnerships with colleagues, business partners and customers
- Fluent in English and German
