Our client, a well-established international chamber of commerce based in Brussels, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join their HR team. As part of a small but dynamic structure, you will play a key role in the day-to-day payroll and HR administration. Responsibilities as a Payroll Officer: - Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees in Belgium
- Be the point of contact for payroll-related questions from employees
- Liaise with the external payroll provider (e.g. Partena) to ensure data integrity
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with local social legislation
- Assist with HR administrative tasks such as contracts, insurance, and benefits
- Support the HR team with onboarding and general employee queries
Profile for a Payroll Officer: - You have proven experience in payroll processing, ideally in Belgium
- You are fluent in German with a good command of French, English and/or Dutch
- You are detail-oriented, discreet, and able to handle confidential information
- You are proactive, organized, and capable of managing priorities independently
- Familiarity with Partena or a similar payroll provider is a strong asset
- Good knowledge of Excel and HR tools is expected
Offer for Payroll Officer: - A temporary contract of 6 months, with potential for permanent hire
