As Procurement Manager, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to shape supplier relationships and drive innovation on the German market. Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:- Implement global category strategy and sourcing business plan for Meeting, Congresses and Events category in Germany.
- Lead sourcing plans and deliver savings targets for assigned sub-category.
- Influence supplier selection, timing, and commercial terms within local procurement scope.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and monitor performance using defined KPIs.
- Gather supplier feedback and report Procurement Balanced Scorecard metrics.
- Create, review, and ensure consistent application of major contracts.
- Resolve supplier performance risks and issues to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Lead negotiations with global stakeholders and ensure alignment across divisions.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial conditions to support business objectives.
- Organize tenders and manage end-to-end procurement processes.
Essential Requirements:- Higher degree in business administrations, logistics, supply chain, or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing within a global organization.
- Proven ability to lead supplier negotiations and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
- Strong contract negotiation skills and understanding of commercial terms.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working in virtual and remote teams.
- High level of independence, ownership, and self-motivation.
- Demonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous professional growth.
- Full professional fluency in English and German.
Desirable Requirements:- Procurement experience in the category Meeting, Congresses and Events.
