Project Coordinator (English & German-Speaking)

Job Description

As a Project Coordinator, you will be part of UL Solutions' PMO (Project Management Office) who deliver testing projects within our consumer, medical & information technologies division.

As a Project Coordinator, your role will be to maintain regular communication with our customers throughout the planning phase of the project lifecycle. You will play a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction, through managing their expectations and promptly addressing any concerns or issues they have. You will work closely with our fantastic team of project engineers, commercial team and the operation managers to ensure the best quality of service is delivered.

Responsibilities

• Maintains regular and proactive communication with customers to clarify what are the critical items (information and samples) needed for UL to start the product evaluation.
• Discusses customer's needs, provides updates, sets expectations, and addresses any questions or concerns.
• Monitors project progress and tracks milestones, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
• Organizes regular follow-up meetings or calls with customers to assess satisfaction levels, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
• Documents and maintains comprehensive records of all customer interactions, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
• Continuously improves customer satisfaction by analyzing feedback, identifying trends, and implementing necessary changes or improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration, project management, or related field (preferred).
• 2-3 years of experience in project handling or customer service roles, with a focus on customer communication and satisfaction. Alternatively, you may be from a technical engineering background e.g. mechanical or electrical and wish to pursue project management
• Advanced level of English and German is a must.
• Good knowledge of any software related to project management, similar to MS project, Jira etc
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
