We strive to build high-performing teams that help people develop to their fullest potential. We take pride in raising the bar and achieving the next level.
OpenUp is ranked number 1 on the LinkedIn Top Startups 2023 list and is rapidly growing. We are expanding our international teams and we are searching for like-minded talent. We are already helping over 1500+ (international) companies and 300.000+ employees, e.g. Rituals, Deloitte, Decathlon, Miele, KPMG, Adyen and McDonalds.
About the role At OpenUp you will become part of an international team within a fast growing scale-up. With our innovative platform, we are on the mission to make mental well-being accessible to all and as a psychologist you will be the core of this business. We focus on preventive care, so we don't do diagnosis, but we are here for more day to day challenges.
Your role will primarily consist of two aspects: contact with clients and contact with (potential) customers.
The contact with clients will be in the form of 1-1 video consultations and group sessions. You will use a solution-focused and goal-oriented approach, with aspects of positive psychology, CBT and ACT for example. They may experience a range of life's challenges, including their relationship, work-related stress or finding their purpose.
The contact with (potential) customers will be in the form of a customer visit, leadership session or Sales presentation. You will represent the OpenUp way of working, outlining our platform or highlighting our expertise.
You'll have a lot of influence on the decisions made in our projects. You can think of client-faced projects at OpenUp Spaces, but also within the company such as HR Round Tables, working with other departments as Marketing or Recruitment, etc. You'll be independent and able to work on your own, but there will also be a nice amount of team projects. This also include the weekly supervision session to discuss cases and get training on topics as suicide prevention together with psychologists with all kind of background and from all kinds of countries.
About youYou are a psychologist (MSc) who wants to join us in improving mental well-being in the Netherlands and all across Europe. You thrive in a dynamic and growing work environment. Next to that:
- You have excellent communication skills in German (mother tongue)
- You have obtained a Master's degree in Psychology
- You have 4+ years of working experience as a psychologist
- You have knowledge of interventions based on solution-focused therapy, ACT, and/or CBT
- You have business level English communication skills (written and spoken) and feel comfortable to do consultations, meetings and presentations in English
- You are a team player, resilient and have a growth mindset
- You're flexible, a real multi-tasker, and get energy from a variety of tasks. For example, you like to give a presentation for (potential) customers, will guide intervisions, and write articles about mental health.
The relationship with clients and colleagues forms the centre of your work. You start conversations, seek for connection and act decisively. You work solution-focused and you are able to come up with advice for your clients in a short period of time. You act from a 'practice what you preach' perspective. This appears from your expressions and your own reflections, the application of your interventions and your attitude to your clients and colleagues. You are a team-player, but you are also able to work independently. When you find yourself with a good idea or wish to develop yourself: you reach out!
