Inviting applications for the role of PTP Accounts Payable Merchandise - Senior Process Associate - German - Remote Poland
In this role, you will manage and oversee the accounts payable (AP) processes for merchandise, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
• Process and verify invoices related to merchandise purchases.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure proper documentation and approval of invoices.
• Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions.
• Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing AP reports and reconciliations.
• Provide support to vendors and internal stakeholders, resolving invoice-related queries and issues.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in AP processing.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Fluency in German and a strong command of English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum year of experience in PTP, or a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
• Proven experience in AP, preferably invoice processing and helpdesk
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working in the retail industry / with retail clients
• Knowledge of additional languages
