Release Coordinator

Our team develops and manages a portfolio of our many customers' software and web applications. We have built an extensive build-deploy pipeline to deliver our products to our end-customers and business colleagues efficiently. As part of a multi-disciplined team, the Process Owner/Coordinator - Release and Deployment is responsible for ensuring that releases delivered into all controlled environments are assessed, planned, scheduled, documented, authorized and that the content is known, agreed and of suitable quality.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Registration and deregistration of inquiries
  • Formal ticket control and ticket processing
  • Planning and preparation of releases
  • Monitoring compliance with release processes
  • Communication of release processes
  • Documentation release activities and test evidence
  • Execution of deployments/support in the execution of deployments
  • Daily communication with developers and other Stakeholders
  • Coordination of the work of several functions and departments
  • Team meetings internally and with other departments
  • Maintaining and updating records, work instructions, procedures, knowledge database, processes, etc. and other documentation

Required Skills and Experience
  • Fluent communication in English, German B2+
  • ITIL certificate
  • Jira / Confluence knowledge
  • Knowledge of implementations via Azure DevOps or SAP (SAP Transports / SAP ChaRM) knowledge is desirable.
  • Soft Skills: a highly organized way of working, reliability and responsibility, communication skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
