Safety Data Quality Specialist with German

We are looking for a Data Specialist with German language expertise to join our team. This is a unique hybrid role that blends deep technical data analysis with linguistic and cultural insights.

Essential functions

• Provide language, culture, and market-specific expertise to support digital storefronts.
• Use statistical and computational methods to identify patterns in quantitative data
• Build dashboards, scripts, or workflows that streamline evaluation reporting
• Translate qualitative findings into actionable insights
• Shape dataset criteria and construct adversarial and stress-test datasets
• Shape evaluation frameworks that capture nuanced safety criteria, including fidelity to safety policies
• Shape the development of automated evaluation pipelines that collect, automatically judge, and analyze model outputs at scale

Qualifications

• Professional-level expertise in German (written and verbal).
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
• Python: Strong experience in Python for data analysis (specifically pandas, NumPy, and Jupyter).
• Hands-on experience with survey design and execution, including best practices for ensuring culturally and linguistically appropriate adaptations when localizing survey materials across languages
• Experience working with LLMs or generative AI systems
• Proven ability to bridge the gap between technical data and business-facing insights.
