Reports to: Head of Accounting
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Play a key role to post journals and reconcile bank statements
- Be responsible for the control and reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts
- Work in cooperation with other team members in daily operational work
- Be responsible for the preparation of payment lists
WHAT YOU BRING IN
- An academic degree in accounting or a comparable education/qualification
- Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
- Several years of practical experience in financial accounting, including both General Ledger and Accounts Payables functions
- Knowledge of accounting and accounting principles of German GAAP, as well as general ledger and accounts payables processes
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (Oracle Netsuite would be an advantage)
- Exceptional attention to detail, excellent time management, and problem solving skills
- Experience in e-commerce sector would be a big asset
- Hands-on mentality, strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Proficiency in MS Office package, especially MS Excel
- Open to development and innovation
