For our business unit Financial Services Transformation within Technology Consulting, we are looking for you as a
Senior Consultant - Financial Transformations.In this role, you will take responsibility in complex transformation programs at leading banks, insurance companies, and FinTechs in the German-speaking region - with a focus on digitization, efficiency enhancement, and operational excellence.
About your manager:
Adam Kele leads the German Financial Services Transformation Practice within Technology Consulting and brings 15 years of experience in technology strategy, complex program delivery, and system integration and transformation projects across the Central and Eastern European region. Adam is passionate about bridging the IT and business perspectives, bringing a structured yet pragmatic approach to both business and delivery.
As a
Senior Consultant, you will work on consulting projects for major clients and actively shape the future of the financial sector. You act as a link between business and IT, manage stakeholders, and ensure the successful implementation of transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for strategic consulting and project responsibility
Project management (PMO) and control- You will take on PMO responsibility in medium to large programs.
- You plan and manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resources.
- You organize governance meetings, create management reports, and present results at the executive level.
Requirements engineering and process design- You lead workshops, gather and document business and customer requirements.
- You model current and target processes according to BPMN standards and ensure full traceability of requirements.
- You create functional descriptions for implementation by business units and IT.
I
T service management and process optimization- You develop and optimize ITSM processes (Change, Incident, Problem) based on best practices.
- You identify improvement potentials across sales and service functions and coordinate cross-departmental stakeholders.
Corporate banking initiatives- You support strategic initiatives in corporate banking and work closely with business units and technology teams to implement solutions in a targeted manner.
Documentation and communication- You create structured documentation such as decision records, RAID logs, budget tracking, and protocols.
- You use Microsoft 365 and Atlassian tools for efficient collaboration and employ AI tools to optimize the quality and speed of project results.
Requirements of the role - Completed studies in economics, international management, IT, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in banking or insurance environments, IT, or consulting - with proven responsibility as PMO or in requirements engineering
- Professional expertise in one or more areas: banking processes, insurance, PMO, sales or service functions, corporate banking
- Solid experience in creating BPMN models (as-is/to-be state)
- Knowledge in designing ITSM processes and technological implementation
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Atlassian (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Certifications (advantageous): PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM, IREB, Microsoft 365/Azure Fundamentals, AWS Practitioner, Salesforce Admin
- German and English at C1 level for daily communication with clients and colleagues
- Strong communication skills, structured working style, and confident stakeholder management
- Curiosity and willingness to use modern AI tools to measurably improve consulting outcomes
