ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Solution Architect, your mission is to answer customer requirements with a suitable and sellable solution and ensure the completeness and consistency of results. You will identify and conceptualize solution options and proposals, considering implementation plans, transition & transformation, and delivery standards. You will handle RfQs to present compelling and differentiating solution concepts. You will be responsible for developing proposal solutions in compliance with technical and commercial guidelines with a focus on Software Engineering, Application DevOps/Management, and Cloud Services. As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for obtaining internal reviews and approvals for your solution based, among others, on your financial calculation. Additionally, you will coordinate the necessary portfolios and services with SMEs for the comprehensive solution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and develop solution architectures that meet client requirements.
• Ensure the integration of various system components and technologies.
• Lead the technical direction of projects from inception to delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experienced IT Expert: Knowledgeable in architecture frameworks, methods, and tools with a keen sense of detailing and executing business projects.
• Technical Solution Design: Ability to discuss complex technical solutions with clients and convince them of the proposal's capabilities.
• Presales Experience: Skilled in providing both technical recommendations and financial details of proposed solutions.
• Specialized Knowledge: Proficient in Application Development, Cloud Architectures / Cloud Native Development, App Modernization, Agile and DevOps delivery Models, and AI Services.
• Strong client-facing skills: Comfortable interacting with clients (business & technical audience), delivering presentations, and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
• Work Style: Structured, self-motivated, and capable of high performance with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Mindset: Agile-minded, quality-conscious, and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge.
• Microsoft Office: Advanced office skills in Word (collaboration, review/merge functionality) and Excel (advanced formula usage and calculations).
• APMP Bid/Proposal Foundation Certification.
• One Hyperscaler certification above foundational level (e.g., AWS Solution Architect Associate).
• One agile certification (SAFe preferred, LeSS, or others).
