As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and govern large-scale HR IT transformation and migration initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, disciplined delivery, stakeholder engagement, and successful implementation of complex, cross-functional programs. The role requires proven major project management experience, German language capability, and exposure to SAP migration or SAP-enabled transformation projects.
1. Major Project & Program Leadership
• Lead large, complex, multi-year HR IT transformation and migration projects across countries, functions, and delivery partners
• Translate strategic objectives into delivery plans, milestones, governance routines, and measurable outcomes
• Drive end-to-end project execution with strong focus on scope, timeline, budget, risks, dependencies, and benefits realization
2.Governance & Delivery Management
Manage a portfolio of major initiatives, including SAP migration or SAP-enabled HR transformation projects
• Coordinate project streams such as business readiness, process alignment, data migration, testing, cutover, hypercare, and integration dependencies
• Ensure structured governance, transparent reporting, decision tracking, and escalation management
• Apply hybrid project management methodologies (Agile / Waterfall) pragmatically according to project context
3. IT provider Relationship Management
• Coordinate vendor and delivery-partner management together with DT IT, project teams, and implementation partners within ongoing HR IT programs
• Facilitate decision-making with senior leadership on roadmap, prioritization, resources, budgets, and delivery trade-offs
• Ensure strong stakeholder engagement at executive level, including steering committee preparation and board-level reporting where required
4. SAP Migration Exposure & Solution Coordination
• Work effectively with SAP functional and technical experts to understand migration impacts, dependencies, and implementation risks
• Coordinate solution feasibility discussions, integration dependencies, testing readiness, and cutover planning without requiring deep SAP configuration ownership
5. Risk, Compliance & Change Management
• Own program-level risk, issue, dependency, compliance, and data-protection tracking for HR IT and SAP-related initiatives
Ensure delivery decisions are documented, compliant, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards while avoiding unnecessary complexity
Experience and Skills required
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale, complex transformation or major IT projects, ideally in HR IT or enterprise environments
• Proven exposure to SAP migration, SAP implementation, or SAP-enabled transformation projects; deep SAP configuration expertise is not required
• Strong experience leading cross-country, multi-stakeholder initiatives with significant business, IT, vendor, and change-management complexity
• Experience with hybrid project management methodologies; strong planning, analytical, problem-solving, and delivery-management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills
