Job DescriptionOur client is a trusted partner in the financial-banking sector in Germany, both in the public and private sectors who offers services for over 150,000 banking workstations and for more than 4,500 employees. It covers over 60% of banking sector in Germany.
Responsibilities- SharePoint Expertise: Ensure the smooth operation, optimal performance, and continuous availability of SharePoint environments. This includes on-premises and cloud-based SharePoint solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and user needs.
- Issue Resolution and Troubleshooting: Provide advanced support for SharePoint-related issues, by diagnosing and resolving complex technical problems to minimize disruptions. Address user-reported issues promptly and identify root causes to implement long-term solutions.
- Security and Compliance: Design and implement robust security protocols to safeguard SharePoint environments from unauthorized access. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies regarding data protection and compliance.
- Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise for SharePoint-related projects. Facilitate training sessions for users to enhance adoption and effective use of SharePoint tools and features.
- Configuration and Administration: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and administration of SharePoint environments, including site collections, permissions, workflows, and third-party integrations. Implement governance policies to ensure efficient use and compliance with organizational standards.
- Ticket Management: Manage and resolve support tickets using ticketing system, prioritizing tasks to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring timely resolution of all issues.
- System Upgrades and Enhancements: Plan, coordinate, and execute SharePoint upgrades, migrations, and patches. Ensure compatibility with organizational systems and maintain the integrity of data during transitions. Evaluate and implement new features to enhance SharePoint functionality.
QualificationsMust have:- Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years managing complex SharePoint environments (on-premises and cloud-based).
- Hands-on experience with configuration, administration, and optimization of SharePoint environments, including site collections, permissions, workflows, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards for SharePoint environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in German (B2/C1) and English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have:- Certifications related to SharePoint or M365 services (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator, Teams Administrator Associate, or similar).
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation for managing and optimizing SharePoint environments.
- Familiarity with M365 services and their integration with SharePoint.
- Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within SharePoint.
