Statutory SME with German language

In this role You will:

• Perform various statutory related activities for Germany
• Involving in the preparation of several notes and management report
• Develop short term workaround solutions where appropriate and provide recommendations for permanent solutions.
• Support the team to solve ad-hoc accounting queries
• Analytical review of accounting data
• Coordination and preparation of the financial statements for several small sized subsidiaries of BP ESE. Essential to take complete ownership of these processes.
• Provide support and guidance to other team members.
• Support the audit and tax related processes

What You need to be successful:

• Relevant 7+ years finance and accounting experience, including german GAAP.
• Fluency in English and German
• Strong level of analytical skills, numeracy and strong financial understanding
• Demonstrated end to end process expertise in statutory field
• Able to manage multiple / conflicting priorities with a strong track record of delivery against tight deadlines
• Pro-active and highly performance driven attitude
• Experience supporting and implementing strategic plans across a team
• Strong communication and cooperation skills
• Self-confident appearance in relations to the internal and external contacts
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and facilitation skills with ability to work with and influence cross functional teams from a variety of backgrounds and cultures
