To further expand our team and our capabilities we agreed with our German colleagues to build a German speaking consulting team in Prague. The team will become embedded part of the broad German Financial Services consulting team.
About your managerAdam Kele leads the German Financial Services Transformation Practice within Technology Consulting and brings 15 years of experience in technology strategy, complex program delivery, and system integration and transformation projects across the Central and Eastern European region. Adam is passionate about bridging the IT and business perspectives, bringing a structured yet pragmatic approach to both business and delivery.
We are looking for an experienced
Tester/Testing Analyst - (German projects) for our clients in banking, insurance, or financial services domain to support their implementation projects.
Job description & summary - Design and execute test cases, including manual and automated testing
- Support the creation of test plans, test concepts, and test reports
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Collaborate with project teams on medium to large-scale implementation projects
- Manage defect tracking and test reporting
- Communicate directly with clients in a client-facing role
- Ideally lead smaller teams and work effectively in virtual teams
- Operate within ITIL environments
Requirements of the role- Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business Engineering, or a related field
- Experience from banking, insurance, or financial services domain is a huge plus
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing, including experience from implementation projects
- Proficiency in designing, executing, and documenting test cases
- Defect management and test reporting experience
- Proficiency in German at the C1 level for active communication with colleagues and clients in German-speaking countries
- Fluency in English (C1); knowledge of Czech or Slovak is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP S4HANA transformation, core system transformation, and cloud migration environments is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Azure, Micro Focus ALM, Xray, Selenium, UI Path, SoapUI, Tricentis Tosca, Confluence, or similar
- Basic scripting skills in Java, Gherkin, C#, Python, or comparable languages
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- ISTQB or comparable certifications are a plus
