About the roleWe are looking for an experienced AP Accountant who ensures high-quality execution of Accounts Payable processes and actively contributes to continuous process improvement across markets.
Your responsibilities- Execute comprehensive Accounts Payable workflows (including Concur, VIM, SAP FI) from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve recurring issues, identifying root causes and patterns
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely resolution of open items
- Maintain and update process documentation and ensure audit readiness
- Review accounting postings and escalate issues in a clear and structured way
- Support onboarding and training of new team members in standard AP activities
- Participate in country-specific controls and month-end close activities
- Identify process gaps and suggest improvements
Our requirements- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes and related systems
- Experience working with SAP FI and AP tools (e.g. Concur, VIM)
- At least communicative knowledge of German (B1/B2 level or equivalent)
- Well-developed analytical skills and attention to process accuracy and detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to take initiative with a focus on problem-solving and follow-up
- Experience in working in a structured, controlled environment (e.g. shared services or SSC/BPO will be beneficial)
- Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
