As an Account Manager for Truck Parts and Tyres (German-speaking), you will join our dedicated BAS Parts and Tyres team. You will be responsible for selling new and used truck parts to international customers. Whether through calls, emails, website inquiries, or chat, you will seize every opportunity to sell. You will build, expand, and maintain relationships with hauliers, workshops, and garages. Once you have sold a part, you will manage the process from sale to delivery. This may include following up on an order, preparing an invoice, or shipping a package. To achieve this, you will work closely with your colleagues in Stock Management, Sales Support, and Transport.
What makes this role both enjoyable and challenging is the freedom and responsibility you are given to run your own 'business.' You will take the lead throughout the entire process, keeping a close eye on payment and transport. On average, a Junior Salesperson sells around half a million euros in their first year. If you meet your targets easily and seek more of a challenge, your goal will be to sell towards 1.5 to 2 million euros. To achieve these figures, you will receive all the guidance and support you need. In this role, you can make an immediate impact.
You will join a dynamic and friendly team of 12 direct colleagues. Your team leader, Roel, has been with BAS Parts for more than 8 years. In total, BAS Parts has 40 colleagues. Lines of communication are short and informal. For instance, we end the week on Fridays with a drink together.
