Your responsibilities
  • Be involved in the transition of accounting processes from European entities to Hungary and actively shape a new SSC in Budapest
  • Be involved in day-to-day operations in the following process areas (not exhaustive)
    • Credit management
    • Invoicing
    • Incoming payment processing
    • Collection management & dunning
    • Customer disputes
    • AR Closing and periodical activities
    • Incoming cash forecasting on own portfolio
  • Discover, evaluate and resolve issues
  • Identify and actively work on process improvement opportunities
  • Be adherent to agreed service levels, policies and procedures
  • Engage in collaboration with the business and stakeholders to develop a professional relationship and gain in-depth insight into our diversified operations
  • Be the ambassador of our organization towards our Customers
  • Provide qualitative customer service
  • Ensure that all process manuals/relevant work instructions are created and updated on a regular basis
  • Coach and train junior team members

Your profile
  • University degree in Economics or Finance with major in accounting or equivalent qualification
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting (primarily AR)
  • Very good understanding of the AR processes
  • Continuous Improvement and Quality (CI&Q) mindset
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken), ideally Hungarian skills as well
  • Very good knowledge of SAP FI
  • Enthusiasm for establishing and ramping up a new Shared Service Center
  • Ability/willingness to travel (2 to 6 weeks periods for knowledge transfer- when circumstances allow to do so)
  • Self-starting attitude and ability to work independently
  • Strong team-player
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and prioritize the right things at the right time
  • Excellent communication skills
