Job Description
The Global Procurement function not only delivers savings and protects the business from supply chain risk but also works closely with our stakeholders to deliver solutions that are innovative and market leading.
This role gives you an opportunity to broaden your horizons managing a category that supports the delivery of products and services to our clients.
What you'll be doing?
- Working with the in country and regional Business Units to develop procurement strategies to help meet both local and regional strategic goals
- Researching category and market information to become a trusted advisor to the region with regards to regional Marketing and HR activity.
- Contribute and provide regional updates into the Global category strategy.
- Plan and negotiate new and renew exiting contracts within the Marketing and Hr remit, to ensure value for money and exceeding the needs of the business.
- Undertaking RFx and e-auctions as appropriate.
- Supporting and driving the compliance agenda, helping and advising regional stakeholders on the best sourcing practice.
- Participating in global activities to share learning and leverage knowledge from other Experian data buyers across the world.
Qualifications
What you'll bring?
- You will have a minimum of 2 years procurement experience.
- Experience in engaging in detailed, and sometimes high-level, complex negotiations with vendors, with the ability to challenge, influence ideas and consult.
- Be looking to build on your current experience and develop your knowledge of multi country procurement (regional) procurement.
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work as an individual or as part of a team.
- Results driven with desire to learn
- Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
- A knowledge of contracting law including data protection is desired.
- Fluent English
- German: able to communicate to a good standard in writing and verbally.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities particularly when reviewing bids, markets and spend, and confident to challenge where necessary.
