As an Inside Channel Account Manager you will support our Channel Partner Route-to-Market and be responsible for supporting the engagement between partner and Rapid7 channel sales teams, along with supporting/executing on enablement activities directly with our Channel Partners. About the TeamOur EMEA Channel business has been growing at a considerable rate over the last few years, and with a 100% Channel model, our Channel team is at the heart of our success. The Channel organisation has a vital responsibility to drive partnership revenue and growth with our channel partners and distributors.
About the RoleIn this role, you'll support our EMEA channel team to scale our partner business. The role will include helping to identify, recruit and operationalize new resellers and MSP's. You will work with local Distribution partners (where they exist) on campaigns and enablement activities for themselves and the partner community. You will collaborate with the channel team to build a regional partner business plan with quantified goals and milestones to achieve partner sourced revenue metrics to meet all quarterly sales requirements. You will work internally with AE's and Sales Leadership to identify new partner targets and work together with regional CAM leads on campaigns to recruit and onboard partners and drive sales enablement of Rapid7 solutions.
In this role, you will:- Plan and execute on partner enablement activities to help drive partner generated pipeline and deliver partner sourced deals in order to achieve defined targets
- Assist sales and partners in quoting and closing transactions via the channel
- Follow-up on channel account based marketing campaigns, designed in partnership between sales, channel and marketing
- Manage integrated email and cold calling campaigns to generate new channel sales prospects
- Work work target partners to ensure customer health and drive renewals
- Drive target partner contacts to attend marketing events and respond to our campaigns
- Conduct on-going research to identify new leads and decision makers
- Strategise with Channel Account Managers to target prospect partners to build pipeline
- Develop scalable relationships with target partners
- Build strong cross functional relationships internally with our sales, marketing and enablement teams
- Manage and report demand generation, enablement, and pipeline on a regular basis
- Meet and exceed weekly KPI's and deliver a high quantity of qualified channel sales opportunities
The skills you'll bring include:- Fluent in English and German
- Minimum of 2 years working in Sales, Sales Development, or an Inside Channel role with proven capabilities in account development and proactive outreach
- Track record of working in a target driven environment, achieving targets / quotas
- Experience in the channel partner ecosystem with an understanding of channel sales would be advantageous
- Previous experience working in Software/Saas/Security Sales would be advantageous
- Passionate about delighting customers with exceptional relationship building skills
- Excited by technology, curious and eager to learn more about IT Security products and services
