In this role, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects as per company and management requirements.
Responsibilities
• Prepare the Monthly/Quarterly Closing.
• Fulfill documentation and controlling responsibilities within the given professional area.
• Take part in internal projects as per company procedures and manager requests.
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Oversee the accounting operations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures.
• Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable.
• Ensure that accounts receivable is collected promptly.
• Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed.
• Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis.
• Maintain the chart of accounts.
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• University graduate.
• Experience in General Accounting, closing, and reporting process for multinationals / large organizations.
• English and German are necessary (C1)
• Hungarian local GAP and taxation knowledge
• Project management and consultative assignments in previous experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
• Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle client on one-on-one basis, via e-mails and calls.
• Able to effectively manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and detail oriented.
• Logical, operations-oriented way of thinking, result orientation.
• Strong analytical skills.
