About this role:

Within GFO O2C, we are establishing a new team to manage collection activities for our global organization. This role is critical in driving the cash flow that supports our projects and investments. As a customer-facing position, strong communication skills will be essential for your success as a Collector, enabling you to build effective relationships and achieve impactful results.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Find the balance between collecting outstanding debt and being customer-focused. Maximize the collection of outstanding invoices while minimizing customer churn.
• Remind our customers of their payment obligations by sending out dunning letters, emails, and making outbound calls.
• Educate our customers in such a way that it improves their payment behavior without churning the customer.
• Report outstanding invoices to all relevant stakeholders and discuss next steps.
• Support with the month-end close by doing the Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation for the collection activities.
• Prepare and submit customer files to external collection agencies to proceed with legal actions.
• Support the manager on writing off the uncollectible bad debt once all collection efforts have been exhausted.
• Apply continuous improvement to simplify, standardize, and automate O2C processes.

What will you bring to the table?

• Experience in collection activities or the willingness to move to a collection role.
• Ability to set priorities to maximize collection efforts.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Good persuasion skills.
• You love the challenge of continuously improving results.
• Good Excel skills and the ability to interpret and apply data to improve results.
• Italian, Polish or German language skills
