German-speaking IT Support Technician

Currently, Akkodis Göteborg is seeking a German-speaking IT Support Technician for a key assignment with one of our premier clients. This role offers the flexibility of being up to 100% remote; the choice is yours. However, you will be affiliated with our office located in Torslanda, Gothenburg.

Role Overview:

As an IT Support Technician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our clients end customers. Our client is committed to ensuring that their customers receive the highest level of support and service, without any interruptions due to IT issues. Your role will encompass continuous improvement, testing, evaluation, and the willingness to adapt to changing processes.

This position can be fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to choose between working from home or collaborating with colleagues at our Torslanda office in Gothenburg. While residing in the Gothenburg area is not mandatory, occasional visits to the office may be required.


You will be responsible for handling incoming inquiries from internal employees via phone, email, and chat, addressing a variety of IT-related issues. These may include user and password management, Microsoft Office queries, Windows troubleshooting, VPN issues, Active Directory, and other related challenges.

Comprehensive training will be provided during the initial weeks to ensure you are well-equipped to handle the job effectively. Additionally, you will have access to our Knowledge Base and the support of your colleagues to assist you in your role.


We are looking for individuals with a genuine passion for IT, a strong problem-solving aptitude, and a desire to assist others. Fluency in German, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication. Proficiency in English is also required.

A deep understanding of the importance of building and maintaining customer relationships, coupled with the ability to deliver efficient and quality work, is crucial. The role demands a proactive problem solver who can work independently as well as part of a team.

While having an IT-related educational background (either high school or vocational/tertiary education) is highly desirable, it is not a mandatory requirement. Previous experience in similar roles or in a customer service-oriented profession will be considered an asset.
