Place of work: Karadžičova 2, Bratislava, Slovakia (Job with occasional home office)

Contract type: Full-time

Start date: By agreement

Wage (gross): From 1500 EUR/monthly (+ salary review, interesting company benefits, the salary is negotiable based on experience and proven seniority)

You will be part of a supportive team where learning, structured processes, and gradual responsibility growth are key. This role is ideal for graduates who want to build a solid accounting foundation and develop client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting and finance operations (AP, AR, GL, Procure-to-Pay)

• Process and review accounting data such as invoices, payments, and open items

• Assist with bank postings, payroll-related entries, and reconciliations

• Support month-end closing activities under supervision

• Communicate with internal stakeholders and clients (mainly in German) via email and calls

• Follow up on open items and support issue resolution

• Work with accounting systems and MS Excel

• Learn accounting standards, internal processes, and client requirements

• Participate in international projects and team knowledge sharing

What you need to succeed

• University degree in finance, accounting, economics, or similar

• German language skills at C1 level (spoken and written)

• Good command of English

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Ability to work with data accurately and meet deadlines

• Positive attitude and interest in finance and client work

• Experience with Excel and accounting systems is an advantage
