Role OverviewThe position entails a senior role, necessitating fluent German, TMON, SAP and GTMS. Additionally, this role encompasses soft skills as it involves coordinating activities, upskilling less experienced and new colleagues, overseeing E2E processes to identify areas for improvement, and project and process-related responsibilities. High flexibility and an ability to adapt to fast-paced changes are essential for success in this role. Close collaboration with the direct supervisor on a daily base is a fundamental aspect of this position.
ResponsibilitiesTransportation Planning and Execution:- Oversee the smooth operation of self-pickup carriers and regular carriers, including monitoring if sustainable transport methods are provided, carrier performance management/reviews and adjusting logistics plans;
- Process and audit carrier invoices and documents including sustainable certificates;
- Manage / influence transportation fleet and 3rd party carrier performance;
- Work with procurement to hold transportation bids and select carriers;
- Transport capacity forecast report and communication to carriers;
- Manage the integration of sustainability measures to minimize environmental impact while achieving operational goals, prepare necessary reporting.
Collaboration & Partnership:- Work closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Warehousing and Sector Team to align strategies and resolve operational challenges.
Support in Audit related activities:- Contribute to and support audit-related activities to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Drive CI initiatives:- Drive change initiatives by initiating and leading dedicated workstreams that deliver added value for the organization;
- Identify gaps in processes & improvement areas;
- Initiate changes with dedicated work streams and deliver added value for PepsiCo.
QualificationsQualifications:- Relevant university degree would be an asset;
- Mandatory minimum 3 years of experience in similar position (preferably FMCG);
- Knowledge of European rules and regulations for drivers and vehicles preferrable;
- Awareness of Lean principles - nice to have;
Abilities:- Fluency in English and German (both verbal and written;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel;
- Problem solving skills;
- Strong time management and deadline orientation;
- Advanced Stakeholder management skills;
- Experience in Project management (proven track);
- Experience in transportation management systems (GTMS);
- Advanced SAP knowledge;
- TMON knowledge;
- Transporeon knowledge;
- Good numeric abilities;
- Demonstrated proficiency in Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
