Structural Engineer with German (W/M/X)

Main responsibilities:
• Delivering structural design on time and within budgeted hours,
• Preparation of structural analysis, calculations and reports as deliverables for projects,
• Supporting design of structures of industrial, water and other sectors,
• Cooperation with all other disciplines in order to deliver clash free designs, good quality data and content that has been checked and reviewed,
• Learning of current design standards, software of the company and clients,
• Participation in foreign business trips,
• Mentoring and development of engineers, designers, technicians,
• Leading project team, assigning tasks to project team members, receiving and checking work;

- Employment on the basis of a full-time employment contract,
- The ability to work in an office or a hybrid model,
- Flexible working hours (we start between 7:30-10:00),
- "Short Fridays" (Monday - Thursday 8.5h, Friday 6h),
- Work in an experienced project team, on international/long-term projects in a company present in all areas of infrastructure,
- Cooperation with engineers from foreign Jacobs offices,
- The opportunity to participate in initiatives related to innovation and its practical use in the automation and optimization of design using various technologies, tools and programming languages,
- Membership in Jacobs social networks (Women's network, One World, PRISM, Careers Network, Collectively and others) and participation in initiatives related to their activities,

Requirements:
• Education: MSc in structural engineering,
• Professional license in structural engineering,
• Very good knowledge of codes and standards of structural engineering,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or water related projects,
• English and German language skills, minimum at B1 level,
• Personal skills: well organized, ability to work in teams, ability to lead groups on specific tasks, ability to interact with clients, officials, and contractors,
• Experience in leading teams of engineers and designers;
