Travel & Expense Accountant with German

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Checking the content of the travel expense report for completeness, accuracy of electronic receipts and correctness of important information on receipts
  • Compliance with tax requirements for travel expense reporting
  • Ensuring accuracy of expense types based on travel plan
  • 1st line support for travelers
  • Creation of documents (one pager) for travelers
  • Interface for processing the clearing account
  • Support for Concur and SAP interface
  • Development of suggestions for improvement and analysis of weak points


Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting or similar
  • Very good English and German
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Good organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in teams, under pressure and within deadlines
  • Demonstrating a good understanding of financial accounting, reporting and internal control is an advantage
  • Previous experience in Financial Shared Services for a global company is an asset
  • Openness for continuous improvement (willing to address innovative ideas, open to feedback)
  • Experience in supporting process transitions
  • Willingness for international travel activities
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office
