Vulnerability Management Analyst with German - Junior Consultant/Consultant (f/m/d)

• Perform regular vulnerability scans using tools such as Holm Security or Tenable, ensuring accurate and comprehensive assessments
• Analyze scan results to assess potential risks and prioritize remediation based on severity and business impact
• Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and implement long-term preventive measures
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of assets and their associated vulnerabilities
• Assist in configuring, managing, and updating vulnerability management platforms
• Support the development and implementation of processes to streamline vulnerability management activities
• Provide basic security awareness guidance to teams based on common vulnerability trends

Must haves:

• Basic understanding of IT systems, networking (TCP/IP), and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Exposure to IT helpdesk support or similar roles, with a focus on troubleshooting and organization
• Fundamental knowledge of IT security concepts, such as vulnerabilities, patches, and threat vectors
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate technical information effectively
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• A genuine passion for cybersecurity and a willingness to continuously learn and improve
• Very good English and German skills (C1)

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) is a plus

Things to know before departure:

• Start: by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
• Working hours: full-time (40h); 27 vacation days
• Employment contract: Unlimited
