You will also have the opportunity to complete a relevant recognised qualification in Insurance, which will support you in your career as an Underwriter.

How you will make an impact

• Through a combination of on-the-job training, self-directed learning and targeted exposure, you will develop experience and knowledge of the Energy Downstream specialty line, which will support your transition into an underwriting role.
• Support experienced underwriters with underwriting new and renewal business to help drive the profitable growth of the business line
• Support experienced underwriters with assessing the desirability of risk
• Build relationships with brokers, account executives, clients and other stakeholders by networking and attending broker events
• Deliver excellent service to brokers
• Support experienced team members with creating monthly management information using your analytical and interpretive skills.
• Linguistic skills will help drive your progression and develop your personal brand through your support on specific global accounts

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's or Master's degree to be received no later than June 2026.
• Fluent German speaker
• Previous work or volunteering experience in any industry or sector
• Evidence of extra-curricular activities
• Willingness to support your experienced team members with administrative work, special projects and ad-hoc requests, realising the opportunities presented can be utilised as learning and development experiences
• A team player with strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
• Strong analytical skills
• Customer and Sales orientated behaviors: motivated, proactive, and accountable.
