Accountant with German

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Processing of general ledger accounting according to US GAAP

• Recording journal entries for various transactions

• Monitoring and review of GL transactions and balances

• Performing Intercompany reconciliations and confirmations

• Maintaining GL accounts reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP accounting standards

• Assistance in preparation of reports and financial statements

• Participation in system and process related improvement projects

• Assistance in implementation of internal controls required within the scope of duties

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• 2+ years accounting experience in international environment (experience in a German environment would be an advantage)

• Practical knowledge of MS Office applications, common ERP systems (e. g. SAP, DATEV, OPTIMA) and controlling tools (such as BPC, BO, Power BI, Cadency)

• Fluency in spoken and written German and English

• A structured and conscientious way of working, good communication and planning skills as well as a strong team spirit and a high degree of reliability
