Associate Partner and Competence Team Lead, Strategy & Transformation, Copenhagen

As Associate Partner and Competence Team Lead for Valcon's Strategy & Transformation team, you will play a key role in developing our people, strengthening client partnerships and evolving our capabilities. You will combine strategic advisory work, commercial growth and team leadership while helping client organisations deliver successful transformations.

Role and profile
The role sits at the intersection between client delivery, team leadership and commercial growth. You will lead a team of approximately 20 consultants and help shape the continued development of our Strategy & Transformation offering, focused on strategy implementation, change leadership and operating models. As the market evolves, you will help integrate AI, data and digital capabilities into our services while maintaining a collaborative and client-centred consulting foundation.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, contribute to Valcon's growth by building trusted client relationships and lead complex transformational projects that deliver sustainable results. You bring deep experience and insight into strategy and transformation capabilities, management consulting and preferably digital transformation, data-driven business change or technology-enabled strategy execution.

• Client engagement: Manage and deliver complex transformations and engagements with high-quality standards from initial mobilisation to final delivery and further expansions
• Service development leadership: Develop internal capabilities and strengthen transformation methodologies with AI, data, and technology as key enablers of business transformation

The role offers a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. The ability to balance time between all four areas is key, as they are equally important for success in this role.

In addition, you should embody these skills:

• People skills: Build and nurture existing relationships and teams through empathy, engagement and effective communication with clear direction
• Business and digital acumen: Think analytically and strategically with a pragmatic approach to execution. View AI, data and digital technology as integral elements of modern business development
• Subject matter expertise: Strategy implementation, operating models and change leadership
• Education: Speak and write English fluently and professionally, with Danish being a plus. Completed relevant higher education or equivalent professional experience. Further education is a plus

Organisation and reporting
You will be the direct people manager of the Strategy & Transformation team of management consultants (excluding Associate Partners and Partners). The role reports to one of our commercial sector heads (Partner). In addition, the role has a dotted-line reporting relationship to our Head of Consulting (Partner).

Location and travel
The role is based at Valcon's office in central Copenhagen, Denmark. You can expect travel in connection with client meetings and project work, primarily within the Nordic region.
