WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS:

The fastest product teams in the world are collapsing the gap between thinking and building. A PM who can go from brief to working prototype in a day - using AI tools, not engineers - changes what's possible for a client. We want to hire for that. This isn't a role about using ChatGPT to write your PRDs. It's about a fundamentally different way of working: where the person who owns the product vision is also the person who makes it real first.

THE ROLE:

Prototype before you brief

Use AI tools - Claude, Cursor, Lovable, v0, and whatever comes next - to turn a client problem into something tangible before design or engineering get involved. Show, don't describe.

Compress the feedback loop and handle stakeholders

Iterate with clients in real time. Instead of week-long design cycles, bring a working concept to the second meeting. Get signal earlier, waste less, ship smarter.

Manage stakeholders across the board

You're the single point of truth for everyone invested in the product - clients, engineers, designers, and leadership. You set expectations, communicate trade-offs clearly, and make sure no one is surprised. When priorities shift or scope gets messy, you're the one who holds it together and brings the room back to what matters.

Own the product strategy

This is still a PM role. You define what to build and why, manage priorities, and lead a cross-functional team through delivery. The building is a superpower, not a substitute.

Raise the bar on what's possible

You'll be one of the first people in this role at MVST. You'll help define how we work at the intersection of product and AI while actively shaping the collaboration between PMs and developers along the way.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

3+ years in product management

You know how to run a product - discovery, prioritisation, stakeholder management, delivery. The building capability layers on top of that foundation.

Hands-on with AI tools, right now

You've already used Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Lovable, v0, or similar to make something real - not just to write better emails. You're excited about what's coming next, not anxious about it.

A builder's instinct

You default to making something rather than describing it. You've shipped side projects, internal tools, or prototypes - with or without a formal technical background.

Comfortable with ambiguity

This role doesn't have a playbook yet. You thrive when you're figuring things out rather than following a process - and you bring others with you when you do.

Fluent in German and English

Both languages are part of daily life across our client base and internal teams, ideally you're fluent in both.

1. Intro call: 15-20 min with someone from our People team - no prep needed.
2. Take-home assignment: one week to complete a task relevant to the role. We keep it realistic.
3. Technical interview: 1 hour with the hiring manager - a real conversation about how you work.
4. Founder call: 30-60 min to get a feel for where MVST is going and what it means to build here.
5. Team meetup: if you're near Munich or Barcelona, come say hello in person.
