Cloud Marketplace Operations Executive (18 month contract)

The Role:

This position is to join the European Clouddesk Team which is part of the Commercial Centre of Excellence Team. In this role reporting directly into the Commercial Centre of Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our growing Cloud Marketplace, as well as streamlining processes and identifying new operational efficiencies. You will work closely with both the Sales & Alliances teams across Europe to support them in winning deals, as well as delivering frequent reports and feedback to key stakeholders at a Global level while also managing our daily operation relationship regionally with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. You will also be involved in project work, to enhance and support the company strategy of driving new SaaS revenue. As part of the broader CEC team, you will also be expected to adapt and support other CEC functions - such as sales support or deal desk - as business needs require.

The Responsibilities:

• Engage with AWS Partner Managers and Microsoft Enterprise Channel Management team to drive Marketplace business.
• Work with the internal Sales team to identify and qualify suitable Marketplace opportunities
• Create Private Offers in AWS Marketplace and engage with legal team to draw up Committed Contracts.
• Work with finance teams to track Marketplace revenue and take action when required
• Meet regularly with the Global Alliances team and work on projects to enhance the Marketplace and Sales cycle
• Streamline processes where necessary and identify efficiencies in order to fulfil the objectives of Smart, Simple and Service that fits and in line with our regulatory controls

Qualifications/Experience:

• 3+ years' experience of working in or supporting a Sales team
• Good communication skills with the ability to adjust to the audience (business vs. technical, professionals vs. leadership) is required
• High level of personal initiative, ability to function autonomously and self-confidence
• Fluent German
• Experience of working in Dynamics, including quoting and creating reports
• High level of interest in AWS, Azure & Google Cloud Marketplace possibilities.
• Creative person who can contribute to projects and coordinate with a global team
• Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals
