Collections Specialist with German (f/m/x)

We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team focused on improving payment collection processes. This role will involve proactively reaching out to customers in Germany who have overdue payments, ensuring timely resolutions while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Your tasks

• Calling early past-due customers in Germany to remind them of overdue payments and agreeing on resolutions
• Performing administrative tasks related to collections activities, such as documenting call outcomes in the system
• Demonstrating proactive thinking and initiative in resolving customer payment issues
• Handling difficult conversations with customers to negotiate binding agreements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in collections or finance
• Very good command of English and German
• Experience in handling difficult conversations and negotiating agreements with customers
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate proactive thinking and initiative after an intensive onboarding period
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required
