CQV Lead

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Commissioning & Qualification (CQV) Engineer to support a major pharmaceutical project based in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of technicians in delivering qualification, calibration, and automation I/O checks across all E&I systems, ensuring CQV execution adheres to project timelines.
• Review and approve Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) documentation, including loop packs and test protocols for all related process and utility equipment.
• Supervise field execution, including commissioning, testing, and calibration of process equipment as well as clean and black utilities.
• Represent the CQV team in client and project meetings, reporting progress and technical updates clearly and professionally.
• Coordinate vendor activities to optimize and streamline CQV deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with construction, automation, and operations teams to ensure smooth project handover and compliance with the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Automation, Process, Electrical or related discipline).
• Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
• At least 8 years of experience within the Life Sciences or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong background in process equipment, black and clean utilities, and CQV execution.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a project-driven environment.
• Hands-on, proactive approach and strong problem-solving mindset.
• High level of customer focus and team collaboration, aligned with Benelux quality and precision standards.
