Customer Service Specialist with German - 2 years

Job Description

As a Customer Service Specialist with German, your responsibilities will include providing a smooth and positive experience for our customers. You'll handle their orders from start to finish, making sure everything is processed quickly and accurately. You will respond to customers' questions in a timely and knowledgeable way, proactively addressing any issues that come up. You'll also work closely with our technical support and sales teams to help resolve customer problems efficiently, while following company policies and service standards.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensure the consistent and effective provision of services / information to the customer base including (but not only) Order management, fulfilment, problem solving and other services across all media (Telephone, mail, etc.).
• Provide / check all information and guarantee their accuracy for efficient order Entry;
• Ensure the contract review, the price policy (SOCX) and ITC are applied with no exception and report to your management when discrepancies identified.
• Provide a daily follow up of the order book and takes actions in order to anticipate issues / satisfy the request of the customer (within the companies' dedication).
• Act pro-actively: advise customers about potential delays or issues related to the order.
• Check feasibility of customer request in terms of lead times, certificates and documents required (Mainly Exports)
• Apply relevant customer service procedures and processes in the respect of the Quality Management System and in accordance with DAUT Policies and standards.
• Chip in to continuous improvement: Share issues across the team and propose corrective and preventative actions followed in actions plans held by the Team Leader, thereby ensuring the level of customer service required.
• Collaborate closely with factories, logistics teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth order fulfilment and timely deliveries.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate and timely resolutions.
• Prioritize activities based on customer needs, business priorities, and key account requirements.
• Identify potential business opportunities through customer interactions and support the sales team in delivering additional value to customers.
• Develop team capabilities by training and coaching colleagues on customer service processes, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience, process efficiency, and service performance.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or International Trade preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
• Experience in commercial roles such as technical support, pricing, or sales
• Emphasis on attention to detail with a proactive approach
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work optimally under time pressure
• Strong customer focus and commitment to service perfection
• Comfortable using digital tools and platforms such as Outlook, email, Microsoft Office, and related systems.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• One additional Western European language would be a plus
• ERP systems
