Your new responsibilities

• Support algorithm development and deployment of sophisticated wafer map analytics software in close collaboration with German data science team.
• Identification of data science use cases, to support the R&D of optoelectronic devices.
• Data preparation with support of data engineering team in IT.
• Apply statistical methods or tools, to gain insights and to prepare data for use in predictive & prescriptive modeling.
• Build models, to forecast/ predict and thus solve business problems.
• Collaboration with R&D, to support a smooth ramp-up of new optoelectronic technologies via data analytics.

What we look for

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent with relevant industrial experience.
• Highly proficient in statistical & analytic skills.
• In-depth experience in programming languages (Python, Matlab, etc)
• Detailed & strong analytical thinking with excellent communication skills.
• Good in decision making & presentation skills.
• Understanding in semiconductor technologies will be an added advantage.
