Join our eSourcing Team and advance your career as an eSourcing Senior Analyst!

The eSourcing Senior Analyst is responsible for managing and driving high focus and complexity online tenders through internet-enabled applications (Ariba) in support of various BP businesses. This includes demand management, advising most suitable approach to market, based on predefined Category/Sourcing strategy and market situation, strengthen supplier relationships and proactively identifying value opportunities. The ideal candidate has practical experience in sourcing of services and commodities, understands modern tendering techniques, especially eAuction, has good commercial orientation, excellent communication skills, strong systematic and analytical skills coupled with project management and multi tasking. In addition has the capability to mentor junior colleagues.

In this role You will:

• Influence partner decision on eAuction opportunities.
• Define Rfx template and suggest tool selection and evaluation methodologies as a trusted advisor for eSourcing guidelines.
• Advise and build source selection criteria into the system based on business priorities and requirements, leveraging on advanced bid analysis and optimisation where applicable.
• Gain necessary project information for the assigned tender via engaging Business Partners and provide historical data insights of supplier bidding performance to support sourcing decisions.
• Support query handling and issue resolution from root cause analysis, key incident reports, document process changes
• Take an innovative approach and support/lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Run operational reports to ensure important metrics and SLAs are met.
• Act as functional SME and ensure all Systems and tools are available, issues are raised and escalated in a timely manner to the relevant service providers.
• Setup, complete and manage identified new automated sourcing solutions.
• Increase speed and process compliance of eSourcing project through system configuration and automation opportunities.
• Manage complex eSourcing events such as RFI, RFP, RFQ, eAuction for direct and indirect categories.
• Build and complete eSourcing events in the tool in line with requirements (eg: visibility conditions).
• Communicate status and progress of projects to customers and stakeholders.
• Manage supplier interactions through event lifecycle.
• Provide high quality report and analyses for decision making support (eg: excel custom reports, optimisation, online evaluation, scoring).
• Handle and acknowledge project requests in a timely manner, and ensure balanced workload allocation in sub-team (Gatekeeper).
• Support and enable Sourcing activities across teams, based on requirements.

What You will need to be successful:

• Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience (Procurement related certification is an advantage)
• Fluent in English
• Understanding of end-to-end sourcing process
• Systematic thinking, strong ability to learn different systems
• Strong analytical skills
• Project management mind-set, ownership (turning points well set and kept independently)
• Solid communication and client relationship management skills
• Excellent time-management and task prioritization skills, multitasking
• Motivation and capability to share knowledge and mentor juniors
• Proactive and innovative approach

Desirable criteria:

• Fluent German language skills
