Position Summary

A prominent global manufacturer of heavy machinery and commercial transport solutions is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Advisor for its Ghent facility in Belgium. Your central objective will be minimizing vehicle downtime and ensuring global supply chains operate continuously. Acting as the primary connection between corporate accounts and engineering specialists, you will provide technical guidance, diagnostic evaluation, and tailored operational solutions to fleet managers and authorized service centers around the world.

Core Responsibilities

• Client Advisory: Handle urgent phone calls and digital support requests while strictly following corporate safety and quality guidelines.
• Analytical Diagnostics: Evaluate complex operational delays to develop fast, data-backed solutions for commercial clients.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to reduce turnaround times and maintain accurate software records.
• Hybrid Work Model: Take advantage of a balanced weekly schedule consisting of four days on-site at our modern Ghent site and one day working from home.
• Fully Paid Onboarding: Complete an intensive corporate training program starting on day one. A background in mechanics is not required; full technical instruction is provided.

Candidate Requirements

• Language Abilities: Full fluency in both German and Dutch (written and spoken), with the capability to switch between both languages seamlessly in business settings. Professional command of English (minimum B2 level) for software navigation, case documentation, and global team collaboration.
• Professional Attributes: Proven composure under pressure, maintaining a calm, solution-driven attitude during urgent customer communications.
• Digital Literacy: Tech-savvy profile with solid experience using enterprise software platforms and managing multiple digital applications at once.
• Shift Flexibility: Full willingness to work within a 24/7 rotating shift schedule to ensure continuous support for global fleet operations.
